Do I need to be registered for GST to use this?
No. If you’re not registered for GST, you can still create standard invoices — we’ll make sure the invoice doesn’t incorrectly include “Tax Invoice” wording or GST charges. If you are registered, your invoices will be fully ATO-compliant tax invoices.
Is this an accounting platform?
No — Aussie Tax Genius is focused purely on invoice generation. We do one thing and we do it perfectly. If you need full bookkeeping, we integrate with Xero and MYOB so your invoices flow straight in.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes, absolutely. Cancel anytime from your account settings — no lock-in, no cancellation fees. Your invoices and data remain accessible.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We never sell your data to third parties.
What happens to my invoices if I downgrade to Free?
Your invoice history is retained — we never delete your data. On the Free plan you won’t be able to create new invoices beyond the monthly limit, but you can always access your existing records.
